A Prince's Longing

This was my entry for 's contest. I lost. Which sucks because I SERIOUSLY wanted that Squee book. But hey, ya win some, ya lose some. And sharing this piece among my fellow artists is a win.

Prince Truffle's bio said that he secretly wants something more than his royal life, so I showed him gazing out the window while casually doing his job of guarding the Royal Jelly (the little jar near his leg) and being served by cute little Squee girls. The shading on the rug and pillows were the biggest challenge that somehow turned out better than expected. So good things all in all.
